Christmas Flowers

“Let your intentions be good – embodied in good thoughts, cheerful words, and unselfish deeds – and the world will be to you a bright and happy place in which to work and play and serve.”

– Grenville Kleiser

The flowers in the images below are from a Christmas bouquet I have.  When I read the quote above I felt like it paralleled the Christmas spirit of love, selflessness, and giving. The flowers are Leucadendron.  They are of the evergreen family with a cone in the center and leathery petals or leaves.

  1. Robyn,

I came here through Robyn Lee’s page. How lucky for me.

Here you take a simple thing, “a bouquet I have,” and construct these stunning compositions. This is the essence of artistry, I believe- to see in the simple and ordinary the great beauty that resides.

Best wishes for the New Year. Grateful for this new connection.

    • Hello Thomas. What a beautiful compliment. Thank you very much. Robyn’s blog is a nice place to meet. She is a true gem and I too am grateful for the new connection. Blessings to you and yours for a wonderful 2013. Robyn
