“The reason why love is eternal is that it does not exist for itself, but gives life to those it transforms.” – Jeffrey Fry
The titles of the photographs of red and white carnations are based on the meaning of red, white, and striped carnations in the Victorian Language of Flowers. I took the liberty to combine meanings and alter them a bit to ensure that the titles conveyed my vision and intention of each image.
Lovely Robyn. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Thanks Edith! And to you too!

What a beautiful series this is, Robyn.
I love red and white carnations, but for some reason this year, there were none to be found here. We’ve been having a really tough winter, and I am guessing that may be the reason.
I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.
I did Lisa! Thanks so very much! Have a wonderful evening! Robyn
They are all beautiful, but that last one really appeals to me. Happy Valentines Day (just a tad late 🙂 )
Thank you Laurie! Have a great week!
