“Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.” – Sarah Ban Breathnach
A heartfelt thank you Lisa! I loved your most recent post! You made the pink Daisy ( I believe that is the flower that was the subject of the photograph) dance! All my best to you my friend. Robyn
Beautiful original submission Robyn. This is truly a classic photo that deserves all the accolades. It’s a timeless image that is perfect in every way.
Beautiful. A good choice of B&W. With flowers I usually like to see colour but on occasion, b&w is the way to go and this clearlyw as one of those occasions! 🙂
Thanks so much Adrian! You are right…..often times flowers need to be photographed in color. Not all flowers work in black and white and it is important to differentiate which do and which don’t. Of course this is subjective as is all art! Enjoy the day my friend!
The daffodil “cup” brings back one very special memory, Robyn.
Imagine a child “picking” a bunch but with very short stems, too short to put in a vase. But instead of sending her out to pick better ones, the mother and daughter tried something new, floating them “cup up” in a shallow crystal bowl and putting one colorful Jellly-bean in each cup…and all the guests–grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends–clapping with delight when they saw the arrangement in the center of the table!
I think I might cry.
Have a beautiful, blessed Easter, dear Robyn.
Oh Marylin! You and your beautiful, glorious memories! Thank for sharing it with me. You brought tears to my eyes. Sending hugs and warm wishes to you, Mary and your family for a blessed Easter! XO

Beautiful picture.
Many thanks Doro! Enjoy the week!
The monochrome works feel, because we can focus on the flower’s contours and lines.
Thanks Sally! I agree!
This is stunning, Robyn!
