Love this shot so much Robyn. It’s beautiful, yet heart wrenching at the same time.
Thanks so much Shane. I hope it makes the heart hurt less to know I posed the shot…Enjoy the night!
This is gorgeous!
Thank you Mom! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Love how this tells a story!
Thanks Susan! XO
Poised or not, it is still touching.
Glad you think so, Don!
Yes, it is …
Speaking from experience, Dorothy? 😉
Yes … Fortunately it’s history now 😉
Such a story here.
Yes….a story indeed!
Powerful shot, Robyn. Definitely tells a story. Well done.
Thanks so much Mike! Appreciate your kind words!
Love it Robyn!
Many thanks Robyn!
So very glad, Elizabeth!
Superb composition, Robyn !
A perfect title, Robyn. And, speaking from experience, I can say that giving up the journey and returning home is not easy, either!
No, you didn’t Marylin…ever run away from your sweet mother! I’d love to hear the story behind that! XO
This is truly a wonderful image, Robyn.
Happy Sunday to you!
Thank you Lisa, and happy Sunday to you too!
Running away is definitely hard! I remember that I was running away when I was a child: I was very angry and took my bike for a ride, with the intention to run away for good. I guess I must have made it about a kilometer or two when I turned around and went back home. The ride wasn’t long, but just long enough for a small child to get on better thoughts. 🙂
Wonderful image Robyn!! Pulls at the heart!!
I assumed, but was never the less glad to read, that you posed the shot.
