I am so thankful for all of the people who have been commenting on my 2014 Pointe Shoe Series! I am thrilled to know my work is making people think and smile! I apologize that I am not responding to each and every comment…with the studio opening in September and my kiddos home for summer my time is just running a bit thin..well, really thin! Smiles to all! And please keep the comments coming…I love, love, love them!

Robyn, do you ever calligraphy quotes in faint ink in the background of your photographs? Goethe’s quote is touching, real, vivid…and the ballet shoes, exactly as you have them photographed, are an almost magical representation of his words.
