All of the newborn images above were shot using my Nikon D800 and my 50mm 1.4 lens. Individual settings are above. Β Which is your favorite?

  1. Ooops! Forgot to choose a favorite, probably because it’s so difficult to do so.
I am going to say it would be the third one for me, simply because I so love little baby hands and feet! πŸ™‚

  2. I love these, Robyn! Nothing is more amazing or beautiful than brand new little life, and you captured the chidk-downy hair and tiny fingers and toes that make me go “Awww.” The color shot of the wrapped baby with a sleeping smile is my favorite.

  3. Robin, these are stunning. How you did this I will never know. The amount of patience it must have taken. You do some awesome work, but this is up there with your bestest.

  4. My favourite? Certainly the top one. Why? The high key treatment – but far and away mainly the disposition of the limbs – is he (or she) scratching his head?, does the hand on his stomach reflect a feeling of contentment?, and his wonderfully defined and curling up right foot – or if we look at all of the limbs together, is he dancing through his dreams? And have you made this one largest because its your favourite, and/or because you think it the best image? Very nice stuff, Robyn! Adrian
