All of the newborn images above were shot using my Nikon D800 and my 50mm 1.4 lens. Individual settings are above. Β Which is your favorite?

Patrizia
Thank you Patrizia! So very kind of you!
This is beautiful:)
Thanks so much Janet!
Oh, wow, the smile in the blue-gray cocoon–unforgettable!
I’ll bet the parents are pleased with these.
So precious Robyn! I love them all.
Oh my goodness, what a precious little one, and these photographs are just so beautiful, Robyn.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Ooops! Forgot to choose a favorite, probably because it’s so difficult to do so.
I am going to say it would be the third one for me, simply because I so love little baby hands and feet! π
I love these, Robyn! Nothing is more amazing or beautiful than brand new little life, and you captured the chidk-downy hair and tiny fingers and toes that make me go “Awww.” The color shot of the wrapped baby with a sleeping smile is my favorite.
Gorgeous, Robyn! I love the last image in the grey cocoon…..
New life is always a miracle and we should be grateful for it. All photographs are beautiful, but the fourth one is my favourite π
OH – SO PRECIOUS – such talent you have – love the shot in the Coca Cola crate – from a new fan! π
Really love the 1st image! What a perfect pose π Nice to see someone else using natural light for portraiture!
Robin, these are stunning. How you did this I will never know. The amount of patience it must have taken. You do some awesome work, but this is up there with your bestest.
Oh, and my favorite is the baby smiling.
Lovely photos, Robyn! The 4th one (with the smile) is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
All so beautiful Robyn, and so difficult to pick a favorite . . .
Outstanding miracle of life shots. These can defintiely melt a heart.
My favourite? Certainly the top one. Why? The high key treatment – but far and away mainly the disposition of the limbs – is he (or she) scratching his head?, does the hand on his stomach reflect a feeling of contentment?, and his wonderfully defined and curling up right foot – or if we look at all of the limbs together, is he dancing through his dreams? And have you made this one largest because its your favourite, and/or because you think it the best image? Very nice stuff, Robyn! Adrian
Let’s all let out a huge “AWWWWWWEEE”. They are so precious! I love how you photographed the baby. So darling. :))
Oops I pressed post before I picked. I am having a hard time picking as well. I think I like 3 though because of the expression on the baby’s face. π
That first one in particular is wonderful (they all are of course) … I just love the little bubbles at the mouth!
So cute and beautiful ! Love the fourth picture π that smile so sweet π and the las one with coke π
