This photo was taken Monday morning after the rain clouds cleared.  The sun was warm and gorgeous, can you feel it?  To see a more high-key photograph of this subject, a yellow daisy, visit Monochromia.  Which do you like better?

Make Life Bloom

“People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong…Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom?” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Make Life Bloom with the Positive

Awards

Awards.  Those little things that have the ability to influence our confidence, our motivation, and our lives in extraordinary ways.  I was recently blessed to receive three blogger awards.  I am still saying WOW!  Me?  Really?

When I began my photographic and writing journey I had no idea where it was going to lead me.  How long the path would be, how wide my horizons would become, or how many wonderful people I would meet through the sharing of photographs and the written word.  I am so grateful for the many wonderful people I have met and the many who have touched my life.  Some of your stories are amazing, true tales of survival, humility, love, and honor.  Some of your artistic abilities are so incredible that I am humbled every time I see your work or read your words.  Thank you all for your support, your following, your “likes”, and especially for your comments that motivate and inspire me to keep posting.

A special thank you to three bloggers who have recently nominated me for awards:

My Botanical Garden – visit this lovely site at: http://www.mybotanicalgarden.wordpress.com

Esengas Voice – visit this beautiful site at: http://www.esengasvoice.wordpress.com

The Blazing Trail – visit this inspiring site at: http://www.theblazingtrail.wordpress.com

Because I have very little time to dedicate to following up on the awards, answering questions, nominating additional bloggers (I have so many favorites that I can’t narrow it down in a reasonable amount of time.),  I chose to add an awards page to my site where the awards I receive will be posted along with the link to the site of the person who graciously nominated me for the award.  In addition, I want to recognize the three blogs above as blogs that I thoroughly enjoy and find inspiring.  Please visit them.

Thanks again to all of you for your friendships, love, support and inspiration.

Here’s To You

A little cheer to begin the week.

It’s OK to Believe in Ourselves

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. – e.e. cummings

Love is…..

“Love is the only sane and satisfactory answer to the problem of human existence.” – Eric Fromm

Thank you to my dear husband who so very thoughtfully and lovingly brought fresh flowers home for me yesterday evening.  I enjoyed them all day today.  Now, my readers, you get to enjoy them too!
