“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year…
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Please follow this LINK to find my Thursday post on Monochromia. I think you’ll enjoy the portrait.
SS 1/60 f 5.6 ISO 500, Natural Diffused Light
I edited this image in Topaz Black and White Suite using adjustments in the classic black and white program and adding a diffusion edit to give the image a soft, dreamy, appearance of the feeling of adoration, which is one of the meanings of the Sunflower.
“You can’t look in the face of adoration and be cruel.” ~ Claudia Christian
“I love you, I’ve loved you for years and I’ll love you for years more. It’s not something I can fight, it’s not something I want to fight.” ― Somi Ekhasomhi, Always Yours
The red tulip means “Believe Me” and “Love Declared” in the Victorian Language of Flowers, thus the title of this image and the reason I selected it for Valentine’s Day. I wish you all a day filled with love and joy.
Introducing my studio space…There is so much natural light I didn’t turn the lights on to photograph the space. The images are straight out of camera,I didn’t edit them as I just wanted to share the space with you.
My dog, Daisy, goes to the studio with me every day.
The stairway to my second floor space.
The entrance is to the right.
