2013 Tulip Series – 11
The images I am posting tonight are both of reflections of tulips. Be sure to notice the variation in the depth of field used for each image. In addition, I hope you see the pairing of each image to the quote selected.
“The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.” – Thomas Merton
Reflection of Others
“Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance; but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed.” – Desiderius Erasmus

The Ride of Love
The Tulip series is getting a little long so I thought I would try something different tonight and post multiple images. Yes, all are in black and white, this too is a change. Although these images were lovely in color, they moved me in black and white. I would love to hear your thoughts. Do you like them? Which do you like best?

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” – Wayne W. Dyer
The Orchestra
I chose the quote above based on the fact that each image presents the same tulips in different ways. The images reminded me of not only change, but of an orchestra swaying and playing. Perhaps if we look deeply enough we can see an orchestra of change.
