A beautiful day for a very special event. I love this image with the sunburst and sun flare. First communions are such a special event – I think of it as a turning point in faith for little ones. This little girl was so very excited and the way the sun was shining on her that morning in her back yard was amazing. It was as though all of the angels from heaven were looking down on her and showering her with blessings on her extraordinary day.
